This is just one version of a smoothie that can, of course, be eaten and enjoyed at any time of the day! If you are taking supplements, this is a good time to take them, or even just crush them in. You could warm the milk for a delicious night-time drink. In this version we have:
1 cup of hemp or other plant milk
1 tbsp full fat Greek yoghurt
2 tsps (pea) protein powder, or Maca
1/2 cup of frozen berries
2 tsps flaxseed oil
1 tsp of chia seeds
1/2 tsp vitamin C powder
2 tsps of raw cacao powder, with a few nibs for the top.
Smoothie like this are great for helping balance wayward hormones: Maca, flax, chia, vitamin C, antioxidants, proteins and Omega 3 oils will give you many resources from which your body can and will find it's natural balance. Enjoy x
